Congressman Kevin Brady spoke with Good Morning Southeast Texas' Tracy Kennick Monday Morning about how he is working to help the 8th District which was devastated by Hurricane Ike.

The Congressman surveyed storm-damaged Orange County and saw first-hand how bad the loss is.

Because of the slow process in registering with FEMA, Brady was able to "procure" 1100 operators from the IRS, get them trained and they are now helping speed up the process and get people the help they need.

Later this Monday Morning, Congressman Brady along with Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and Congressman Ted Poe will all meet in Orange with local elected officials and Orange County Employers on getting the county back up on it's feet.
