“Pour Les Enfants”, is Garth House’s main fundraiser each year. It is a fun evening of gourmet dinning provided by The Chef’s Association, live, and silent auctions with all proceeds used to run the programs on a daily basis. Garth House mission is to, “ lessen the trauma to child victims of severe physical and sexual abuse during the investigative, prosecutorial, and healing processes”. The Mickey Mehaffy Children's Advocacy Program opened in 1991. Garth House has facilitated over 7,900 victims and families. The video used by investigators, social services, and prosecution decreases the number of interviews to victims. We interview, provide free professional long-term counseling and provide Family Support Workers for child victims and non-offending family members.
